Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sandy Rotoure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Wegesin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rotoure might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Frontline - Pillar. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that DJ Wegesin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotoure lands a nice shot to the body.
Wegesin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rotoure gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Rotoure makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rotoure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Wegesin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rotoure.
Rotoure connects with a nice looking jab.
Wegesin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wegesin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rotoure as he jumps to the side.

Rotoure fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Rotoure, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rotoure throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wegesin seems to have recovered his senses.
Rotoure looks to land a left hand but Wegesin moved out of range nicely.
