The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Dejanerio with that takedown attempt.
Emelianenko lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and Dejanerio counters with a nice double leg into side control. Emelianenko won't be happy with that.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Emelianenko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
