Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gage Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson comes into the arena with Back In Black blaring out of the sound system. Will Henderson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Lucas.
Lucas misses with a head kick.
Lucas lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lucas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Will Henderson has been cut.
Lucas jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lucas misses with a series of wild punches.
No luck for Henderson with that takedown attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!

No joy there for Lucas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Henderson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lucas defends it nicely.

Henderson feints and as Lucas raises his hands in defense, Henderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Henderson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Henderson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Henderson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Henderson passes Lucas's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Henderson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lucas defends it well.
Lucas is trying to control but can't.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lucas missing with punches from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lucas can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lucas tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Henderson manages to move to mount!
A nice elbow there by Henderson.

Henderson working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Lucas looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Henderson! Submission of the night perhaps?
