The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baria fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McGinty keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
McGinty with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Baria looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for McGinty!
Baria trying to control the position but McGinty is working away.
Baria wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McGinty, who protects the arm well.
Baria advances nicely into full mount.
McGinty is trying to stand but he's just given Baria his back.

McGinty trying to get back to his feet but Baria is in full control for now.
Baria working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. McGinty is doing well to defend. Baria seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! McGinty is forced to tap and this one is over!

A relieved looking Fernardo Baria thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Conrad McGinty spoke after the fight, saying 'Alright, alright, that wasn’t my best performance. I got distracted—probably too much staring in the mirror. But listen, I’ll be back. You can’t hold down the McGinty magic for long. Next time, I’ll knock ‘em all out and still look better doing it!'.
