Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Pinkman (ranked 658 p4p, 1041 weight class) and Shigeru Otori (ranked 60 p4p, 100 weight class). Shigeru Otori has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Pinkman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 28 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shigeru Otori! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Otori misses the shot to the body. Otori throws an overhand right that lands on Pinkman's shoulder, as Pinkman tries to avoid the shot. Pinkman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pinkman drives through with a takedown into Otori's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pinkman prevents Otori from getting back to his feet. Otori managing to control the position. Otori being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pinkman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Otori swivels though and keeps the full guard.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice cross by Pinkman. Pinkman misses with a hook. Pinkman takes a kick to the side of the head. Otori misses with a straight right. Pinkman scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Otori is looking to clinch but Pinkman is avoiding it.
Otori gets off balance looking for a body kick and Pinkman counters with a straight right hand. Nice shot by Pinkman. This has been an exciting period of action! Otori needs to keep his hands up - Pinkman had a free shot at his head there. Pinkman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. A lazy left from Pinkman finds it's target. Otori misses with a hook to the body
and Pinkman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Otori throws a leg kick
and Pinkman counters with a takedown into side control. Otori is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pinkman connects with a decent elbow. Pinkman throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Pinkman working away. Otori is trying to escape the position but Pinkman is controlling the position.

Pinkman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Otori rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Pinkman's guard! Nice work there by Otori! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pinkman is on top in guard.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pinkman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Pinkman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pinkman is stalling in the full guard. Pinkman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Otori works some decent striking defense from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pinkman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Otori being controlled here, momentarily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Pinkman dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Otori throws a body kick that misses and Pinkman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Otori tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pinkman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pinkman looks to score with a jab to the body but Otori is just out of range. Otori throws out a counter right but Pinkman avoids it with no problem. Pinkman lands with a straight right. Otori didn't see that one coming. Shigeru Otori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Otori finds it's way through Pinkman's defenses. A big right from Pinkman misses. Otori tries a head kick but it misses.
Otori misses with a wild body shot. Otori lands a front kick. Otori tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pinkman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Otori throws a poor cross that misses
and Pinkman counters with a straight right hand. Pinkman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pinkman darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Pinkman ducks under a wild hook from Otori. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Otori throws a sloppy body shot
and Pinkman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pinkman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pinkman moves out of range of the body kick. Otori takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pinkman clobbers Otori with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Pinkman is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Pinkman just misses with a punch to the body.
Otori throws out a counter right but Pinkman avoids it with no problem. Pinkman misses the shot to the body.
Pinkman dives in and scores a takedown into Otori's guard. Pinkman sitting in guard here, content to control. Pinkman passes into half guard. Pinkman controlling the action here.
Pinkman is working for a kimura but Otori is defending it quite comfortably.
Pinkman works his foot free and advances to mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Otori wants to hold on but Pinkman pushes him away. Jesse Pinkman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pinkman controlling from mount. Pinkman landing strikes from the mount. Pinkman lands a heavy elbow. Pinkman controlling his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pinkman working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Pinkman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Otori can do to turn this around?

Pinkman with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pinkman controlling his opponent. Otori tries to hold on but Pinkman postures up. Pinkman controlling from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pinkman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Pinkman fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Otori is in all sorts of trouble here.
Pinkman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Otori can do anything to dispel that myth.
Otori has left one of his arms exposed and Pinkman doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Otori screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
