Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Dingus (ranked 4112 p4p, 2373 weight class) and Sendo Tackashei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sendo Tackashei!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tackashei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dingus darts in looking for a takedown but Tackashei gets double underhooks and turns Dingus into the cage.
Tackashei manages to break the clinch.

Dingus shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tackashei eats them both and turns towards Dingus to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Tackashei has his foot on Dingus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dingus works his way back into a safe position though.

Dingus looking to sit in guard and control but Tackashei gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dingus manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Dingus ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dingus no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tackashei lands a couple of elbows.
Dingus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tackashei connects with a nice short shot to Dingus's temple.

Dingus manages to get his head free but now Tackashei has transitioned to an armbar! Dingus grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Tackashei! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
