Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jayden King (ranked 2506 p4p, 4318 weight class) and Casimir Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Thunder. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Casimir Volkov!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Chris Dean and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King wants to clinch up but Volkov keeps it at a distance.
Volkov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Volkov content to stall in guard here.
Volkov tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.
King keeping moving, preventing Volkov from controlling successfully.
King manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Volkov manages to get himself to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Volkov, who protects the arm well.

King is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Volkov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

King goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Volkov rolls with the submission and now he's on top in King's guard! Nice work there by Volkov!

Volkov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Volkov stands up from King's guard - Volkov perhaps looking for a knockout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Volkov is defended easily by King.
King changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Volkov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Volkov wants to control but King postures up.
Volkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Volkov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for King but great work by Volkov.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Volkov lands a few punches from side control.
Volkov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
King is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Volkov off and has taken his back!
Volkov is really stuck here.
King is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Volkov knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Volkov for a finish.

King is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Volkov with him. Volkov is trying to defend but King has an arm under the chin now! Volkov grimaces and is forced to tap out!
