Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zavier Crane (ranked 4552 p4p, 4231 weight class) and Tawanchai Jitmuangnon (ranked 0 p4p, 326 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zavier Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tawanchai Jitmuangnon! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jitmuangnon closes the distance and clinches up with Crane, looking for a takedown. Jitmuangnon pushes Crane against the cage but Crane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. An attempted straight right counter from Crane misses the target. Jitmuangnon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Crane pushes Jitmuangnon up against the cage in a clinch. Jitmuangnon is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Crane is keeping busy. Jitmuangnon is looking to break free of the clinch but Crane has double underhooks. Jitmuangnon taking a breather. Crane lands a body shot. Crane leaning against his opponent.
Crane lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jitmuangnon is trying to push Crane away but Crane has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Crane lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Crane - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Crane. Crane stalls. Jitmuangnon is looking to control Crane's arms but Crane gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jitmuangnon has his back to the cage. A body shot lands from Crane.

Jitmuangnon dives in for a single leg takedown but Crane sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Jitmuangnon tries to pull guard but Crane forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Crane presses Jitmuangnon against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Crane dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. A body shot lands from Crane.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Crane stalls. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Zavier Crane. Jitmuangnon scores with a head kick. Crane tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
 It looks like Zavier Crane has been cut. Jitmuangnon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crane swivels and escapes.
Crane has closed the distance and engaged Jitmuangnon in a clinch.
Crane is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Nice body punch from Crane - that landed with a thud.
Crane lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Jitmuangnon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Crane stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A right hook to the body lands for Crane.

Zavier Crane dominated that round. The cut man is working on Zavier Crane's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Crane jabbing away but nothing is landing. A nice side step and Jitmuangnon releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Zavier Crane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jitmuangnon tries to clinch up but Crane circles away and keeps his distance. Crane defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jitmuangnon.

Jitmuangnon wants to get back to striking at distance but Crane won't allow it.
Crane lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jitmuangnon or not. Crane just leaning against Jitmuangnon, taking a breather. Crane is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Jitmuangnon is trying to pull guard but Crane has him pressed against the cage. Crane has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Crane is struggling to control the position. Crane is pushing Jitmuangnon up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Crane gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Jitmuangnon jumps guard but Crane stands there with Jitmuangnon around his waist. Jitmuangnon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Crane is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jitmuangnon is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Jitmuangnon goes for a takedown attempt but Crane pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Crane swats away the attempt to clinch by Jitmuangnon. Crane digs a good body shot into Jitmuangnon's ribs. Nice sprawl there from Crane as Jitmuangnon shoots in. Jitmuangnon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crane pinned against the cage. Crane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Crane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jitmuangnon was well out of range. Poor timing from Crane. Jitmuangnon shoots and misses and Crane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Crane clinches up with Jitmuangnon and pushes him back against the cage. Crane makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Crane is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jitmuangnon can do to turn this around? Jitmuangnon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Crane lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jitmuangnon backwards. Jitmuangnon tries to pull guard but Crane holds him up against the cage and eventually Jitmuangnon drops back down to his feet.

Jitmuangnon is trying to pull guard but Crane turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Jitmuangnon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Crane scores with a nice short uppercut. Jitmuangnon is looking to break free of the clinch but Crane has double underhooks. Crane working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Crane lands a hook that snaps the head of Jitmuangnon backwards. A frustrated look appears on Jitmuangnon's face as he tries to break the clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Crane scores with a hook to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jitmuangnon misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crane lands a hook that snaps the head of Jitmuangnon backwards. Jitmuangnon is trying to pull guard but Crane has him pressed against the cage. Crane lands with a left to the head. Crane lands with a short shot to the head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Crane stops a takedown attempt from Jitmuangnon.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Crane gets through Jitmuangnon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Come on Crane - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
A short left from Crane. Crane is defending well against a takedown attempt. Crane gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jitmuangnon.

Jitmuangnon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Crane pulls his leg out and moves away.
The fighters circling - Crane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jitmuangnon thows a leg kick but Crane checks it letting Crane counter with a right hand. Jitmuangnon lands a jab. Tawanchai Jitmuangnon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zavier Crane is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that's the end of the fight! Zavier Crane showed his dominance in that final round. Well Crane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
