The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Bacia counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bacia throws a right hand that Pedersoli ducks under and follows up with a left that Pedersoli also avoids with ease.
Pedersoli is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Bacia thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bacia scores with a kick to the body.
Bacia lands a left and a right that send Pedersoli crashing to the mat, dazed. Bacia thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bacia has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Bacia feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pedersolis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Mabuz Bacia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bacia throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

We've been told by Pedersoli's head coaches at Bushido Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Bacia counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looked like Pedersoli was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bacia.

The fighters circle momentarily. Pedersoli darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bacia throws a leg kick which misses Pedersoli's front leg but catches the back leg as Pedersoli tries to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Pedersoli counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Pedersoli lands a jab to Bacia's midsection.

Bacia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pedersoli.
Pedersoli fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bacia.
Mabuz Bacia seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A nice combination there by Bacia.
Bacia feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Pedersoli crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
