The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herrera shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zamanes's guard.
Herrera throws a big elbow that misses.
Herrera is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Herrera wants to control from the top but Zamanes keeps moving.
Zamanes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Herrera is one step ahead there.
Zamanes is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Herrera dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Herrera moves into full mount!
Herrera goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Zamanes is on top in guard.

Herrera wants to sweep here but Zamanes controlling him for the moment.
