In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 3 losses; Bone Breaker! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 5 losses; Michael Aalto! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Aalto is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Breaker to keep the fight standing. Breaker gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Aalto.

Bone Breaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Aalto. Aalto tries for a takedown but Breaker manages to get underhooks.
Aalto has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Breaker after a bit of a struggle.

Breaker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. This is a sustained period of stalling by Breaker. Breaker keeping moving, preventing Aalto from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Breaker is on top in guard.

 That's five minutes gone in the round. Breaker has knee on belly and moves into mount. Score +2 for reaching mount: Breaker (10) vs (5) Aalto Breaker controlling the position easily from mount. Aalto is desperately trying to improve his position but Breaker has a good base and remains in mount.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Aalto tries to lock up and control but Breaker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Aalto really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Breaker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Aalto bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Score +3 for passing guard: Breaker (10) vs (10) Aalto Breaker sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Breaker is refusing to be controlled, as Aalto sits in half guard. Breaker controlling the position for now. Aalto prevents Breaker from improving his position.
 That's eight minutes gone in the round. Breaker is looking to control Aalto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Breaker avoid being mounted? Breaker preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Breaker manages to get to full guard.

 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Aalto being controlled here momentarily. Breaker looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Aalto passes Breaker's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Breaker is staying active underneath Aalto, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Breaker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Aalto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Aalto's back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Breaker (14) vs (10) Aalto Breaker is riding his opponent, not letting Aalto buck him off. I really don't envy Aalto right now.
Aalto is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Breaker.
 That's ten minutes gone in the round. Breaker has the hooks in. Aalto is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Breaker is not going to allow Aalto to sit and survive in this position. Breaker controlling the position well here. Aalto rolled but Breaker kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Breaker has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Aalto's body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Breaker not allowing Aalto to control his hands.

 That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Aalto is still trying to improve position. Aalto is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Breaker off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Breaker is not going to allow Aalto to sit and survive in this position. Aalto tries to roll but Breaker sticks to his back.
