The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monger slaps away a takedown attempt from Dje, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dje shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Monger as he avoids it easily.
Monger stuffs the takedown attempt from Dje. Dje gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moussa Dje. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Monger cracks Dje with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Monger's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dje under the eye.

Monger lands a glancing blow to the side of Dje's head.

Monger is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Oh Dje is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Monger lands a left and a right that send Dje crashing to the mat, dazed. Monger thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Monger is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Oooooh!!! Monger has knocked Dje down with a huge combo! Monger steps away and waves a wobbly Dje back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Dje shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Dje looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Monger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Monger darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dje.
Dje gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Monger counters with a nice uppercut.
Monger throws a series of punches but Dje avoids them all with ease.
Dje tries to score a power double leg takedown but Monger sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dje somewhat.
Dje is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Monger is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dje had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Dje shoots in and drives through. Monger sprawls well.

Dje fails with a takedown attempt.
Dje takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Monger catches Dje with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dje changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Monger fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Monger pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dje back to the cage. Monger follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Dje throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Monger's waist but Monger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dje off to one side.
Nice sprawl there from Monger as Dje shoots in.
Monger throws an overhand right that has Dje reeling! Monger follows up with more punches and Dje is out cold! This one is all over!
