Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Melaiko (ranked 25542 p4p, 3058 weight class) and Kostadin Dyakov (ranked 444 p4p, 308 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, George Melaiko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kostadin Dyakov!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dyakov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Melaiko is pressing down on Dyakov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Dyakov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Dyakov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Melaiko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dyakov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dyakov working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Melaiko's head.
Dyakov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Dyakov content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Melaiko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dyakov postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dyakov connects with a couple of short punches.
Dyakov lands a couple of digs.
Melaiko is rocked!
Dyakov gets to his feet and stands over Melaiko, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Melaiko felt that one! Dyakov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Melaiko from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kostadin Dyakov!
Kostadin Dyakov decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
