Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Linh Ha (ranked 4418 p4p, 3898 weight class) and Raiden Cordova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raiden Cordova is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Linh Ha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raiden Cordova! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ha feints and as Cordova raises his hands in defense, Ha changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ha is looking to stand up but Cordova won't let him. Ha controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ha trying to control but Cordova is working from the bottom. Ha has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ha preventing the sweep. Cordova working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ha.  The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Ha gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ha wants to take the fight to the mat but Cordova manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ha is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Cordova prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Linh Ha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ha manages to break the clinch.
Cordova manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ha on his heels. He'll look to pass Ha's guard now, I'm sure. Cordova would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Cordova wants to control from the top but Ha keeps moving.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cordova wants to stand but Ha is controlling his posture from full guard. Cordova is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cordova postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ha pulls Cordova in close to prevent any damage.
Cordova stands up from guard. Let's bang! Ha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cordova flicks out a counter leg kick but Ha steps away.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cordova gets in close and instigates a clinch. Come on Ha - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Ha as Cordova tries to tie him up. Ha is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cordova is defending well.
Ha breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ha dives in and grabs Cordova's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cordova pushes down on Ha's head and hops out. Cordova throws a fast counter high kick but Ha manages to duck under it in time.
Cordova looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ha is breathing heavily. Cordova throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Cordova seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cordova wants to free his trapped foot but Ha is holding on for dear life with his legs. Cordova wants to control but Ha is keeping him busy. Ha might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ha is looking to control Cordova's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ha avoid being mounted? Cordova seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ha is looking for a sweep. Cordova is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ha closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Cordova manages to escape and get back to his feet! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Raiden Cordova dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Cordova changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ha looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Ha's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ha holds on to Cordova's head and controls the position momentarily. Cordova is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cordova is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Cordova stands up and we're back to a striking position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cordova pulls guard effortlessly.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Cordova keeping moving, preventing Ha from controlling successfully. Ha is in close to Cordova's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ha trying to control the position from guard on top but Cordova is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ha lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ha throws a sloppy strike and Cordova has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Ha is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Cordova!
