Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sigmund Salazar (ranked 1986 p4p, 3460 weight class) and Billy Oehman (ranked 220 p4p, 360 weight class). Billy Oehman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sigmund Salazar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billy Oehman! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Oehman was covering up waiting for the punch and Salazar finishes the takedown easily into guard. Oehman trying to control the position.
Oehman working for a triangle but Salazar defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salazar pushes down on Oehman's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Salazar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Oehman defends it well.
Oehman is defending against the submission attempts here by Salazar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oehman wants to control but Salazar is keeping busy.
Salazar is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Oehman sees it coming and defends easily.

Oehman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Salazar looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Oehman actively working from the bottom here. Oehman is trying to maintain the position but Salazar is very close to passing his half guard. Oehman manages to get to full guard.

Salazar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Oehman pulls Salazar in close to prevent any damage. Oehman keeping full guard, as Salazar tries to pass. Salazar forces his way into half guard.

Oehman keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Oehman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Salazar defends well and Oehman ends up having to push Salazar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Salazar closes the distance and clinches up with Oehman, looking for a takedown. Salazar pushes Oehman against the cage but Oehman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oehman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Salazar is trying to defend but Oehman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Oehman wants to pass the guard but Salazar is defending well. Salazar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Oehman trying to control the action but Salazar is working from the bottom.

We've been informed that Oehman has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oehman stands and throws Salazar's legs to the side, diving into side control. Salazar gets back to half guard. Oehman is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Salazar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Oehman is aware though and is defending well.
Salazar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oehman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sigmund Salazar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Salazar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oehman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Salazar is tightening it up a little... Oehman has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Oehman reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Oehman taps out! Nice BJJ there by Salazar!
