Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Fieldman (ranked 2707 p4p, 2177 weight class) and Jardani Jovonovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Fieldman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jardani Jovonovich! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jovonovich throws a right hand that misses
and Fieldman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Fieldman.
Jovonovich successfully pulls guard.
Jovonovich not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fieldman won't allow Jovonovich to sweep him here. Jovonovich looking to control.
Fieldman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jovonovich, up you get! Fieldman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. It looked like Fieldman was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jovonovich. Jovonovich misses with an uppercut. Fieldman saw that one coming. A quick step to the side and Fieldman tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Fieldman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jovonovich. Fieldman thinks about countering with a body kick. A jab from Jovonovich does it's job there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jovonovich throws an off balance right hand
and Jovonovich takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jovonovich throws a lazy uppercut
and Fieldman finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Jovonovich has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Jovonovich misses with an uppercut. Fieldman saw that one coming. Jovonovich misses with a hook
and Fieldman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jovonovich misses with a looping left. It appears Fieldman was looking to counter with a kick there. Jovonovich waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fieldman. Fieldman staying out of range there. A little feinted left hand from Fieldman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Jovonovich misses with a hook
and Fieldman counters with a stiff right hand.
 It looks like Jardani Jovonovich has been cut. Jovonovich throws a hook but Fieldman blocks it. Fieldman was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jovonovich wants to clinch. Jovonovich throws a lazy uppercut
and Fieldman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jovonovich tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. As Jovonovich tries to get set, Fieldman tries to push him back and clinch up but Jovonovich manages to avoid the attempt. Jovonovich wants to clinch up but Fieldman keeps it at a distance. We've been told by Fieldman's head coaches at Casa Steel that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jovonovich throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fieldman counters with a stiff right hand.
Jovonovich closes the distance and pushes Fieldman back into the cage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jovonovich blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Fieldman trying to land knees to the body.
Jovonovich ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jovonovich no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jovonovich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
 Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jovonovich works his way into full mount! Jovonovich can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fieldman is looking to escape. Jovonovich content just to control the position here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fieldman is wriggling around trying to escape.
Fieldman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fieldman tries to get out of the position.
Jovonovich is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fieldman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Poor strikes thrown by Jovonovich there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Fieldman is trying desperately to improve position.
Fieldman tries to improve his position but Jovonovich has taken his back! Jovonovich has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Fieldman tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Jovonovich pushes Fieldman away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jardani Jovonovich!
