Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Vargas (ranked 3258 p4p, 3749 weight class) and Hector Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas sends Souza crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vargas is motioning to the referee to let Souza up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Hector Souza has been cut.
Souza looks winded!
Vargas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Vargas lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Souza up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Vargas from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Souza's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arturo Vargas!
