Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike McGuire (ranked 2036 p4p, 3710 weight class) and Dubba Sub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McGuire might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It's been a long time. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sub's choice of entrance music: Live It Up!. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 21 - 1, fighting out of London, Mike McGuire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dubba Sub!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McGuire stuffs the takedown.
Sub takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
McGuire lunges at Sub with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sub's hand.
McGuire clinches with his opponent.
McGuire breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McGuire lands with a cross.
Sub misses with a takedown attempt
and McGuire counters with a body kick.
Nice straight punches there by McGuire. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McGuire.
McGuire has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.
McGuire scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGuire takes the fight into the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

McGuire scores with a push kick.
Sub takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sub on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A kick lands to the mid section there for McGuire.

Sub takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McGuire stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

McGuire gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sub jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McGuire walks away with a smile on his face. Sub gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mike McGuire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dubba Sub.
Sub takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sub misses with a takedown attempt
and McGuire finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Sub looks winded!
That kick from McGuire tenderised Sub's leg. Sub is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sub takes a jab right on the kisser.

McGuire cracks Sub with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sub is still on wobbly legs! Can McGuire finish him?
McGuire closes the distance and clinches.
Sub seems to have recovered his senses.

McGuire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McGuire lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
McGuire lands with a good body shot.
McGuire thuds his right hand into Sub's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McGuire connects with a crisp jab.
An inside leg kick lands from McGuire.
Crunch! McGuire slams his shin into Sub's torso.
Sub looks for a takedown but McGuire sprawls well.
A bone on bone clash there as McGuire blocks the leg kick.
McGuire cracks Sub with a right hand to the side of the head.
McGuire avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McGuire with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
McGuire darts in and clinches Sub up against the cage.

McGuire escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sub fails with the takedown.
McGuire lands with a slapping head kick.
Mike McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGuire lands a head shot.
Nice body kick from McGuire.
McGuire lands with a kick to the temple. Sub shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
McGuire lands a big head kick that sends Sub tumbling to the mat! McGuire takes a step backwards and waves Sub back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
McGuire and Sub are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. McGuire throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Sub into next week! Ooooh that was huge! McGuire knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mike McGuire!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Mike McGuire waved his t-shirt featuring Wrestler Wayfare's logo in front of the cameras.
In defeat, Dubba Sub stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will practice my BJJ and I will be back'.
