Saputra comes to the cage accompanied by Truckin'. Howlett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Indestructible kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! James Howlett has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Howlett!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Howlett drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Howlett is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Saputra knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Howlett prevents Saputra from escaping the position.
Howlett advances nicely into full mount.
Howlett controlling from mount.
Saputra manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saputra is trying to get back to full guard.
Saputra knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Howlett on the ground.
Still in half guard, Howlett seems content to control.

Howlett is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Saputra doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Howlett.
Saputra has his hands clasped together around Howlett's back. He's all about the action.
Saputra is looking to improve his position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Saputra is not content to let Howlett control the position.
Saputra on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saputra tries to get out of the position.
Howlett wants to free his trapped foot but Saputra is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Still in half guard, Howlett seems content to control.
Howlett trying to control the action but Saputra is working from the bottom.

Howlett seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Saputra is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
