Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Shannon (ranked 2087 p4p, 5050 weight class) and Conrad McGinty (ranked 217 p4p, 389 weight class). Curtis Shannon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Conrad McGinty's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Curtis Shannon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Conrad McGinty! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shannon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McGinty.
McGinty was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Shannon cracks McGinty with an open hand slap.
 It looks like Conrad McGinty has been cut. Shannon misses with an uppercut. McGinty takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Shannon tries for a takedown but McGinty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Shannon misses with a straight left. Curtis Shannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shannon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Shannon with a poor takedown letting McGinty counter with a right hand. Shannon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Shannon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Shannon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McGinty. McGinty paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McGinty uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shannon.
Shannon swings for the body but McGinty moves out of range.

 That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Shannon does it's job there. McGinty takes a jab right on the kisser.
 McGinty is rocked! McGinty gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Shannon points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. McGinty wakes up just in time to hear Shannon thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Curtis Shannon! The defeated Conrad McGinty had this to say: 'Alright, alright, that wasn’t my best performance. I got distracted—probably too much staring in the mirror. But listen, I’ll be back. You can’t hold down the McGinty magic for long. Next time, I’ll knock ‘em all out and still look better doing it!'.
