The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyota bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Toyota tries to move to mount but Bae blocks the move with his legs.
Bae is looking for a sweep.
Toyota working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bae tries to improve position but can't.
Bae is working hard here to advance position.
Toyota working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
A lull in the action here.
Toyota lands a few punches from side control.
Bae really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Toyota works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bae struggling a bit here.
Toyota scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Bae is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Toyota can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
