Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Stegfelt (ranked 3027 p4p, 3298 weight class) and Alexander Schafer (ranked 303 p4p, 335 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Glenn Stegfelt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Schafer!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schafer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schafer lands in his opponent's guard.
Stegfelt pulls Schafer in close to his closed guard and prevents Schafer from doing any damage or advancing position.
Schafer postures up and lands a big shot to Stegfelt's brow.

Schafer looking to break Stegfelt's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Stegfelt remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Schafer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Schafer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Stegfelt has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!
Stegfelt is covering up but some of the strikes from Schafer are getting through and doing damage.

Schafer's coach down at Mr. Swing Kings Top MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Schafer's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Stegfelt creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Schafer is rocked!

Stegfelt digs a right hand underneath Schafer's ribcage. Schafer let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Schafer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Stegfelt lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Schafer to his knees! Stegfelt keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
