Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Handerson (ranked 71 p4p, 144 weight class) and Lou Cabrazzi (ranked 12 p4p, 20 weight class). Handerson comes to the cage accompanied by America - A Horse With No Name. Cabrazzi has chosen Falling Under Again by Buff Justice as his entrance music. Dave Handerson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lou Cabrazzi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Handerson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lou Cabrazzi! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabrazzi fails to land with a series of punches.
Handerson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cabrazzi sprawls and moves away. Cabrazzi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Handerson. Handerson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A head kick by Cabrazzi misses
and Handerson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Handerson wants to control from the top but Cabrazzi keeps moving. Handerson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cabrazzi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Handerson landing with the ground and pound. Handerson looking to pass the guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cabrazzi keeping moving, preventing Handerson from controlling successfully. Handerson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cabrazzi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Handerson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Handerson trying to control the position from guard on top but Cabrazzi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cabrazzi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Handerson is controlling him. Cabrazzi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cabrazzi keeping moving, preventing Handerson from controlling successfully. Cabrazzi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Cabrazzi misses with a hook.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Handerson moves out of range of the strikes.
Cabrazzi clinches up against the cage. Cabrazzi lands a body punch. Cabrazzi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Handerson's elbow. Cabrazzi throws a head punch that misses. Cabrazzi looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Cabrazzi throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Cabrazzi swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Handerson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cabrazzi prevents it.
Cabrazzi blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Handerson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cabrazzi pulls his leg out and moves away.
Handerson needs to keep his hands up - Cabrazzi had a free shot at his head there. Handerson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Handerson feints and as Cabrazzi raises his hands in defense, Handerson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Handerson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Handerson throws a big elbow that misses. Handerson trying to control but Cabrazzi is working from the bottom. Handerson throws a big right hand that misses. Handerson throws a big elbow that misses. Handerson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cabrazzi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cabrazzi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Handerson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cabrazzi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Handerson wants to control from the top but Cabrazzi keeps moving. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Handerson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Lou Cabrazzi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cabrazzi throws a right and a left that Handerson avoids nicely. Cabrazzi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Handerson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A big right from Cabrazzi misses. Handerson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cabrazzi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Handerson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Handerson lands with a good body shot.
Cabrazzi moves into the clinch successfully.
Cabrazzi throws an elbow but it misses.
Handerson lands a hook that snaps the head of Cabrazzi backwards. Handerson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Cabrazzi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dave Handerson will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Handerson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lou Cabrazzi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cabrazzi darts in trying to clinch
and Handerson counters with a shoot takedown. Cabrazzi fights it but they end up in guard. Cabrazzi wants to stand up but Handerson is controlling him. Handerson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Handerson distracts Cabrazzi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Handerson trying to control the position from guard on top but Cabrazzi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Handerson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Handerson sitting in guard here, content to control.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Cabrazzi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Handerson.
Handerson defending well as Cabrazzi loads up on a big left hand. Handerson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cabrazzi sprawls and moves away. Handerson checks the leg kick. Cabrazzi throws a half hearted mid kick. Cabrazzi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cabrazzi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
 It looks like Lou Cabrazzi has been cut. Cabrazzi misses with an uppercut. Cabrazzi loads up on a big right hand but Handerson slips the punch. We've been informed that Cabrazzi has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Handerson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Handerson lands with a right hand. Lou Cabrazzi seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cabrazzi doesn't manage to clinch there - Handerson circles away.
Cabrazzi throws a shot from downtown. Handerson moves away and avoids it. Cabrazzi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cabrazzi throws a hook to the side of Handerson's head but Handerson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cabrazzi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Handerson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cabrazzi walks into a jab. Cabrazzi is looking to clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Handerson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Handerson lands a nice shot to the body.
Handerson cracks Cabrazzi with an uppercut from hell and Cabrazzi crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Handerson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
 Cabrazzi is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Handerson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cabrazzi is still in real trouble! Can Handerson finish him? Handerson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Cabrazzi covers up, he's hurt! Handerson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Handerson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Handerson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
