Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carter Wright (ranked 791 p4p, 1262 weight class) and Jesse Custer (ranked 103 p4p, 157 weight class). Jesse Custer struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jesse Custer has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Carter Wright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Custer! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright lands with a nice body punch. Custer wants to clinch and Wright counters with a nice body shot. Custer throws a series of punches but Wright moves out of range. Wright looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Custer takes a kick to the side of the head.
 It looks like Jesse Custer has been cut. Custer swinging wildly here.
Wright throws a wild body kick that Custer sees coming a mile off. Custer with the counter takedown but Wright avoids it easily. Jesse Custer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Custer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wright counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Custer lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wright fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wright throws a push kick but Custer slaps the foot to one side. Custer is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Wright thuds a left hand into Custer's body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Custer fails with a takedown attempt.
Wright tries to keep at a distance but Custer has taken the fight into the clinch. Custer can't get the takedown.
Carter Wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Custer.
Wright breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Custer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wright sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Custer is looking to clinch. A counter left hand to the body from Wright misses its target.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Custer moves away. Wright has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Custer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wright. Wright throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Custer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Custer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wright paws at him with a jab and circles away. Custer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wright circles away. Wright was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Custer has closed the distance and engaged Wright in a clinch.
Custer breaks from the clinch.
Custer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wright sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wright misses with a wild body shot. Custer tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wright defends well and Custer ends up having to push Wright into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Wright appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wright pushes Custer away with a front kick. Custer looks winded!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from Wright both land. Nice combination. Custer just misses with a punch to the body.
Custer darts in looking for a takedown but Wright gets double underhooks and turns Custer into the cage. Wright connects with the punch. Some wild striking there from Custer.
Custer is looking to clinch. Wright looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Custer shoots and misses and Wright counters with a nice uppercut. Custer lands a two punch combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wright. Custer does a little dance to reset his feet. Custer fails with the takedown.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Wright dodges the punch combination from Custer.
Wright swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Custer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wright is looking to wear down Custer with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Decent striking displayed by Wright there. Nice takedown defense from Wright. No joy for Custer on that attempt. Wright rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Custer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wright circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wright scoring well with a low kick there.
Wright cracks Custer with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Wright misses with a looping right. A nice side step and Custer releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Wright lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Wright stalks Custer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Custer's face. Custer staggers backwards, shaken. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Carter Wright dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jesse Custer's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Custer takes a body punch but keeps moving. Custer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Custer wants to clinch and Wright connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
 Custer is rocked! Look low, kick high! Wright uses the oldest trick in the book to send Custer tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Wright is absolutely delighted - when Custer wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Carter Wright! An out of breath Carter Wright thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
