Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Hopper (ranked 132 p4p, 1083 weight class) and Cavalho Atunes (ranked 19 p4p, 133 weight class). Atunes has chosen Makeba as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atunes darts in and clinches Hopper up against the cage.
Hopper lands a nice shot to the body.

Atunes pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hopper is out of range and Atunes settles back down.
Hopper paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Atunes lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Atunes with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hopper shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A slow jab from Atunes misses its intended target.
Atunes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hopper finds it's way round the side to connect with Atunes's head.
Atunes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hopper.
Hopper looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

It looked like Hopper wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Atunes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Atunes throws a looping overhand right but Hopper ducks down to avoid it.

Cavalho Atunes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hopper doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hopper slips under a jab from Atunes.
The fighters circling - Hopper throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

That was a close round but I would say that Will Hopper will probably get the nod.

Hopper stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Atunes.
Atunes throws the left hand but Hopper avoids the punch easily.
Atunes is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Atunes looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Atunes in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Hopper drops Atunes with a naaaaasty hook - Atunes is in real trouble here! Hopper dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
