Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wala Sapi (ranked 23360 p4p, 23462 weight class) and Dawindi Buktot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 71 - 61 - 15, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 54 - 84 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sapi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Buktot tries to avoid it but Sapi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Buktot to the ground. Buktot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. And Buktot responds with a good body kick, but Sapi manages to step out the way in time. Buktot shoots for a takedown but Sapi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Sapi is looking to counter with a body kick. Buktot stuffs the takedown attempt from Sapi. Sapi gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buktot closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Buktot is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sapi sees it coming and defends easily. Sapi wants to control but Buktot is keeping busy.
Buktot not landing any meaningful shots this time.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Buktot shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Buktot content to control rather than advance. Sapi wants to get back to full guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Buktot sitting and controlling from the half guard. Sapi keeping hold of Buktot's head, controlling as best he can. Buktot controlling the action here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Sapi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Buktot's guard. Sapi sitting in guard, not really doing much. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot trying to control the position here. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buktot lands an upkick as Sapi stands over him. Buktot controlling Sapi's posture.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Buktot can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sapi controls the pace. Further stalling from Sapi.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Buktot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Buktot defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sapi.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buktot pinned against the cage. Buktot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And Buktot responds with a good body kick, but Sapi manages to step out the way in time. Buktot has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Buktot blocks the body kick.
Buktot is trying to counter with his kicks. Buktot shoots for a takedown but Sapi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. And Sapi counters with a quick kick to the body but Buktot blocks it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Buktot is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sapi's half guard. Sapi is controlling Buktot's position as best he can from this difficult position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buktot prevents Sapi from improving his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Sapi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Buktot shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sapi defends it nicely. Sapi went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sapi. Buktot thinks about the counter body kick.

 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sapi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buktot swivels and escapes. Buktot shoots in and drives through. Sapi sprawls well. Wala Sapi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dawindi Buktot. Sapi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Buktot counters with a body kick. Sapi fails with a takedown attempt. Buktot thinks about the counter body kick. Wala Sapi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sapi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Buktot to the mat! Buktot manages to get full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Wala Sapi showed his dominance in that final round. Well Buktot has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
