Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Onni Mountainjoki (ranked 2211 p4p, 23158 weight class) and Bráulio Etxeberria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bráulio Etxeberria told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bráulio Etxeberria!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Etxeberria fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Etxeberria seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Mountainjoki is looking to stand up but Etxeberria isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Mountainjoki dips a shoulder and cracks Etxeberria with a mighty uppercut! Etxeberria falls back against the cage and Mountainjoki unloads with a barrage of strikes! Etxeberria is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mountainjoki screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
