Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazardo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lazardo cracks Mibangon with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Lazardo is trying to get an arm triangle but Mibangon is defending well.
Mibangon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lazardo on the ground.
Lazardo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lazardo looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mibangon is avoiding damage well.
Lazardo looks up at the clock and then as Mibangon takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lazardo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lazardo is trying to get an arm triangle but Mibangon is defending well.
Lazardo postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Lazardo in side control, throwing shots but Mibangon defends.
Lazardo tries to score with some ground and pound. Mibangon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Lazardo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mibangon has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lazardo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mibangon is trying to escape and Lazardo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mibangon is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lazardo! Very nice indeed!

After the fight, Lionel Lazardo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
