Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antwan Tran (ranked 2510 p4p, 2170 weight class) and Daniel Yergin (ranked 100 p4p, 92 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antwan Tran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Yergin! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tran on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Yergin gets a clinch.
Tran manages to break the clinch.
Tran has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio in the buildup to the fight.
Yergin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Yergin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Yergin scores with a couple of short elbows. Tran taking a bit of punishment here - Yergin scoring with strikes.
 It looks like Antwan Tran has been cut. Yergin working the ground and pound. Tran on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tran tries to get out of the position. Tran pushes Yergin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Yergin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yergin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Yergin in side control lands a decent elbow. Tran is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Yergin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tran is not in a great position here, taking some shots. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Yergin working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Yergin lands a decent elbow from side control. Yergin lands an elbow.
 Antwan Tran's cut is getting worse. Yergin scoring with punches and elbows.
 Antwan Tran's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Tran is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Yergin asserts his dominance and retains side control. Yergin is looking to take a break and control but Tran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yergin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tran bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Yergin shoots in and gets a takedown into Tran's guard.
Tran uses the cage to get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action! A swing and a miss from Yergin.
Yergin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Yergin advances position into side control! Yergin landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
 Jeez, Antwan Tran's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Antwan Tran's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Daniel Yergin!
