Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Funky Buttlovin (ranked 3331 p4p, 1514 weight class) and Salter JR (ranked 316 p4p, 162 weight class). Funky Buttlovin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Salter JR's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Funky Buttlovin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Salter JR! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buttlovin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
JR moves forwards but Buttlovin connects with a nice, crisp jab. Buttlovin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
JR gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. JR misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Buttlovin is holding JR down, trying to stall. Buttlovin continues to stall. Buttlovin is trying to improve his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
JR swings around for an armbar but Buttlovin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into JR's guard. Buttlovin looking to pass the guard. Buttlovin is working hard here to advance position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. JR keeping moving, preventing Buttlovin from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buttlovin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. JR swivels though and keeps the full guard. JR is looking to stand up but Buttlovin isn't so interested in that idea. Buttlovin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Buttlovin tries to free his leg and advance position but JR is retaining full guard. Buttlovin wants to control from the top but JR keeps moving. JR is trying to control the position but Buttlovin postures up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buttlovin trying to control but JR is working from the bottom.  The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Buttlovin throws a half hearted mid kick. Buttlovin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Some wild striking there from Buttlovin.
A little jabbing left from JR on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. JR is looking to clinch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buttlovin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. JR changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Buttlovin throws a hook but JR avoids it easily. JR throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Buttlovin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. JR swings and misses with a hook to the body.
JR closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Buttlovin's guard.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Salter JR will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Buttlovin looks to land a combination but JR avoids it well.
The fight moves into the clinch position. JR working aggressively here.
JR is trying to trip Buttlovin. He has hold of a leg but Buttlovin is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. JR persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Buttlovin is trying to keep JR in close.
JR won't allow Buttlovin to sweep him here. JR is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Buttlovin controls JR momentarily but JR frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buttlovin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. JR in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. JR throws a big right hand that misses. Buttlovin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Buttlovin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
 That's one minute gone in the round. JR loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. JR distracts Buttlovin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Buttlovin has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Buttlovin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. JR defends it easily.

Buttlovin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. JR doesn't defend quickly enough and Buttlovin has managed to lock this one up! Can JR escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Buttlovin on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Funky Buttlovin! A relieved looking Funky Buttlovin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
