Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edwin Irving!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elisha Hopkins!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irving dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Irving takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Irving throws a head kick that misses.
Hopkins has his takedown stuffed
and Irving counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Irving closes the distance and pushes Hopkins back into the cage.
Irving lands a shot to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Irving creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Irving lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Irving scores with a nice short uppercut.
Irving digs a right hand underneath Hopkins's ribcage. Hopkins let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hopkins looks winded!
Irving scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Irving lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Irving stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Irving creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Irving lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Irving scores with a shoulder strike.
Irving creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Hopkins's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Hopkins drops to his knees and Irving pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
