Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rewa Tate (ranked 3708 p4p, 2906 weight class) and Hector Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tate has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Rewa Tate has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rewa Tate! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hector Souza! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Watson and Chris Dean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tate tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Souza defends well and Tate ends up having to push Souza into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Tate is breathing heavily.
Souza decides to pull guard. Tate will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Souza controlling the position. Souza should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Souza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tate's guard.
Tate can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Souza controls the pace. Souza wants to stand but Tate is controlling his posture from full guard. Souza looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tate can't keep his opponent in guard - Souza advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Souza works his way into full mount! Souza scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tate?
Souza looking to control and managing it successfully. Souza is looking to stand but Tate has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Souza controlling the position easily from mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tate tries to improve his position but Souza has taken his back! Souza has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Tate tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Souza pushes Tate away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
