Smith has chosen Beckham as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Smith.
Smith looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Some wild striking there from King.
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
Smith is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
King seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Smith shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
King feinted with a counter takedown.
Smith misses with a takedown
and King counters by clinching up.
JJ King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Smith.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith is fighting off a takedown attempt but King is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Smith to the mat. Smith regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
King keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Smith's head.

King passes easily into side control. Nice work.
King in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Smith looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! King turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
