Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard John Salvacion (ranked 23264 p4p, 23448 weight class) and Tapad Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 59 - 80 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 44 - 90 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Amiga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Amiga gets a takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion is looking to improve his position.

 That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Amiga might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Salvacion is trying to control but can't.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga controlling the action here.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Amiga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Salvacion defends it nicely.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Amiga counters with a body kick that stops Salvacion in his tracks momentarily.
Amiga closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Salvacion quickly recovers to half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga sitting and controlling from the half guard. Let's hope that Amiga has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tapad Amiga dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Amiga closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Salvacion's guard. Salvacion being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion has Amiga pulled in close to control his posture. Amiga has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Amiga working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga looking to pass the guard. Amiga seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Amiga's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Amiga dives in and scores a takedown into Salvacion's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amiga won't allow Salvacion to sweep him here. Salvacion trying to control the position.
Amiga is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga looking to sit in guard and control but Salvacion gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Amiga is trying to keep Salvacion in close.
Salvacion not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Amiga lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Amiga controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tapad Amiga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Amiga shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Despite the aggression on Amiga's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Amiga is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion trying to control from the bottom.
Amiga takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Salvacion is trying to get back to full guard.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Amiga wants it to stay on the feet. Amiga follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up with Amiga, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes Amiga against the cage but Amiga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard John Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salvacion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Amiga is fending him off so far but Salvacion persists. Nope, Amiga circles away and we're back to standing. Amiga thinks about the counter body kick. Salvacion goes for a double leg but Amiga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amiga continues to drive forward. Salvacion is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Amiga gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Amiga has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Salvacion clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga doesn't have the hooks in and Salvacion manages to turn into his guard.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Salvacion's corner is telling him to maintain position. Richard John Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tapad Amiga is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga striking off his back but it's not causing Salvacion any problems.
And that's the end of the fight! Tapad Amiga comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Amiga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
