Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walay Buut (ranked 23425 p4p, 23464 weight class) and Dawindi Buktot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 75 - 62 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 53 - 83 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Buut shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buktot defends it nicely.
And Buktot responds with a good body kick, but Buut manages to step out the way in time.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Buut tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Buktot paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buktot shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Buut manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Let's hope that Buktot has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Buut's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Horrible takedown attempt by Buut or perhaps it was just good defense by Buktot, which made it look bad.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Buktot holds on and takes a little breather.
