Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walay Buut (ranked 23425 p4p, 23464 weight class) and Dawindi Buktot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 75 - 62 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 53 - 83 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buktot defends it nicely. And Buktot responds with a good body kick, but Buut manages to step out the way in time. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Buut tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Buktot paws at him with a jab and circles away. Buktot is trying to counter with his kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buktot shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Buut manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Buut is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Buktot content to stall in guard here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Let's hope that Buktot has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Buut fails with a takedown attempt.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot dives in and grabs Buut's left leg, looking for a takedown. Buut pushes down on Buktot's head and hops out. It appears Buut was looking to counter with a kick there. Buktot fails with a takedown attempt. Buut jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Buut looks for a takedown but Buktot sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walay Buut. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buktot shoots in but Buut avoids the takedown attempt easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot shoots for a double leg takedown but Buut sprawls well. He's pushed Buktot's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Buut looks for a takedown but Buktot sprawls well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Buut darts in looking for a takedown but Buktot gets double underhooks and turns Buut into the cage. Buktot is trying to drag Buut to the mat but Buut just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Buut drops down looking for an ankle pick but Buktot pulls his leg out and moves away.

Buut closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot tries to roll over but Buut keeps him under control. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Buut seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Buktot for as long as he can get away with. Buktot tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Buktot blocking the ground and pound attempt from Buut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buktot holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Buktot is looking for a sweep. Buut is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buktot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Buut is fending him off so far but Buktot persists. Nope, Buut circles away and we're back to standing. Buut tries for a takedown but Buktot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walay Buut. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot misses with a takedown attempt and Buut counters with a one-two to the body. Buktot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buut as he avoids it easily. Buut thinks about countering with a body kick.
Buktot gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Buut to score an easy takedown into full guard. Buktot can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Buut controls the pace.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Buktot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buut as he avoids it easily. It looked like Buut was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Buut shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buktot as he jumps to the side. Horrible takedown attempt by Buut or perhaps it was just good defense by Buktot, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buut feints and as Buktot raises his hands in defense, Buut changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot tries to land a sweep but no joy. Buut is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Buut wants to pass the guard but Buktot is keeping the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Buktot holds on and takes a little breather. Buut is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Buktot can do to turn this around? Buut is stalling in the full guard. Buktot is pulling down on Buut's head. It's preventing any offense from Buut, at least for the moment. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Buktot fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Buut fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Buktot thinks about the counter body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walay Buut. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Buut fails to land the takedown. Buut slaps away a takedown attempt from Buktot, before circling back to the center of the mat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut showed his dominance in that final round. Well Buut has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
