Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xzavier Jacobs (ranked 5041 p4p, 4718 weight class) and Yuri Memphis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Memphis shoots in and drives through. Jacobs sprawls well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Memphis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jacobs manages to get himself to full guard.

Memphis dives in for a single leg takedown but Jacobs sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Jacobs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Memphis's guard.
Xzavier Jacobs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
