Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gadzhi Abdurakhmanov (ranked 2336 p4p, 24623 weight class) and Dane Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mercer throws out a loose jab but Abdurakhmanov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Mercer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Abdurakhmanov circles away quickly and effectively.

and Abdurakhmanov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Mercer connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Abdurakhmanov tumbling to the canvas! Mercer pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Abdurakhmanov was done - good stoppage!
