Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniil Obolensky (ranked 3428 p4p, 3499 weight class) and Rohan Benitez (ranked 352 p4p, 361 weight class). Rohan Benitez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Benitez counters with a stiff right hand.

Benitez has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Obolensky walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A punch lands to the side of Obolensky 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Benitez cracks Obolensky with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Benitez has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Obolensky to stand back up!
Obolensky is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Obolensky shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Benitez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Obolensky thinking.
Obolensky is breathing heavily.
Benitez lands an uppercut, right on the button! Obolensky tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
