Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pudd Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Punch Clinch Submit!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Submit tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nelson defends well and Submit ends up having to push Nelson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Nelson!
Nelson defending well as Submit loads up on a big left hand.
Submit lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nelson circles away quickly and effectively.
Submit throws a poor cross that misses
and Nelson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Submit misses with a lunging right hand
and Nelson counters with a straight right hand.
Submit feints a jab promting Nelson to slip. Submit then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nelson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A shot to the body from Submit misses
and Nelson counters with a nice uppercut.
Submit doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nelson counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nelson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
It seemed like Submit was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Submit drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Nelson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Submit moves into the clinch successfully.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Submit.
Submit lands with a light punch inside.
Submit fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Submit digs a right hand underneath Nelson's ribcage. Nelson let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Submit tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nelson's elbow.
Nelson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nelson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nelson closes the distance and clinches.
Nelson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nelson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Submit.
Nelson appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Submit throws a right hand that misses
and Submit takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Pudd Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Submit fails in his attempt to clinch.
Submit clinches up with Nelson and pushes him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Nelson.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nelson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Submit swings wildly with an uppercut but Nelson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nelson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Submit fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Submit throws a punch but it's blocked by Nelson.
Submit prevents a body shot from Nelson.
Nelson struggles to land a body shot inside as Submit controls his hands.
Nelson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Submit backwards.
Nelson breaks the clinch.
Nelson clinches up with Submit and pushes him back against the cage.
Submit is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Nelson jumps guard and drags Submit to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Nelson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Submit frees his head nicely. Oh but Nelson has switched to an armbar! Submit is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
