Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa J�rvil�inen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Diaz or perhaps it was just good defense by Sims, which made it look bad.
Sims changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Diaz scores with a nice strike.

and Sims counters with a single leg into guard. Diaz didn't expect that.
Sims makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
It looks like Miras Diaz has been cut.
Sims keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Diaz's head.
Diaz wants to sweep but no luck.
Sims is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sims connects with a couple of short punches.
Sims seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Sims gets to his feet - Diaz follows without any prompting.
Diaz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sims sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miras Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown. Sims tries to sprawl out of it but Diaz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sims manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
