Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 23193 p4p, 23443 weight class) and Tapad Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 40 - 96 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 44 - 89 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion throws a body kick that misses and Amiga counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Salvacion closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Amiga did well to prevent Salvacion getting side control. Amiga is trying to control but can't.
Salvacion looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga trying to hold on to Salvacion's head to control him but Salvacion postures up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Salvacion has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Amiga fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Salvacion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Amiga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salvacion but Salvacion pushes him off and we're back to square one. Salvacion throws a quick counter kick to the body but Amiga avoids it.
Amiga looking to score a takedown here. Salvacion is defending well but Amiga drives through and ends up in Salvacion's guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga looking to sit in guard and control but Salvacion gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Salvacion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Salvacion throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Salvacion with a flurry of punches that miss. Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head to control his posture.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Clifford Val Salvacion dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Salvacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Amiga avoids it really well and circles away. Amiga closes this distance looking for a takedown but Salvacion circles away. Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown but Salvacion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Amiga's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salvacion. Amiga replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it well.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Amiga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Amiga in the domination position with Salvacion hanging on.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Amiga just content to control the position. Salvacion is trying to control Amiga's posture but Amiga avoids it.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Salvacion keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. It appears Salvacion was looking to counter with a kick there. Clifford Val Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapad Amiga.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Salvacion feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Salvacion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to his closed guard and prevents Salvacion from doing any damage or advancing position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Clifford Val Salvacion dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Salvacion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salvacion wants it to stay on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Amiga. No joy for Salvacion on that attempt. Amiga counters with a body kick. Amiga looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Salvacion is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Amiga can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga scores with a nice body kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Amiga looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Salvacion! Salvacion is trying to control Amiga's posture but Amiga avoids it. Amiga trying to control the position but Salvacion is working away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga controls the position from side control. Amiga working away. Salvacion holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga is looking to take a break and control but Salvacion is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amiga sprawls well. Amiga wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salvacion gets slowly back to his feet. Salvacion stuffs the takedown attempt from Amiga. Amiga gets slowly back to his feet. Clifford Val Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapad Amiga.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Amiga closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Amiga lands in his opponent's guard. Tapad Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Clifford Val Salvacion is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Amiga slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Tapad Amiga comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
