Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Way Nada (ranked 23393 p4p, 23459 weight class) and Dawindi Buktot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 68 - 70 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 53 - 83 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Buktot blocks the body kick.
Buktot thinks about the counter body kick.
Nada fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nada moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromBuktot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buktot tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nada sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Buktot somewhat.

Buktot steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Buktot holds on and takes a little breather.

Buktot has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Nada has passed into side control.

You can see the frustration on Buktot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Buktot manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nada on his heels. He'll look to pass Nada's guard now, I'm sure.

Nada is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Nada shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buktot as he jumps to the side.
Buktot drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Nada defends it well.
No luck for Buktot with that takedown attempt.

Buktot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nada's waist but Nada gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buktot off to one side.

Way Nada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dawindi Buktot.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nada shoots in looking for a takedown. Buktot tries to sprawl out of it but Nada keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buktot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Buktot shoots in for a takedown but Nada shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nada is looking to counter with a body kick.
Buktot fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nada wants to control but Buktot is keeping busy.
Nada is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Dawindi Buktot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Nada looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Buktot is fending him off so far but Nada persists. Nope, Buktot circles away and we're back to standing.
Buktot follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Nada will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nada feints and as Buktot raises his hands in defense, Nada changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Buktot has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Nada is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Nada has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Buktot.

I would just about give that final round to Dawindi Buktot.
