The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deleon dives in and grabs Van Lierde's left leg, looking for a takedown. Van Lierde pushes down on Deleon's head and hops out.
Van Lierde changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Van Lierde swats away the attempt to clinch by Deleon.
Van Lierde definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Deleon tries to clinch but Van Lierde moves out of range.
Deleon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Deleon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Van Lierde lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Van Lierde scores with a nice head shot.
Deleon is rocked!
Van Lierde measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Deleon! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
