Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim McKane (ranked 3796 p4p, 4845 weight class) and Barnardine Montague (ranked 366 p4p, 410 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim McKane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barnardine Montague! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montague lands a nice shot that snaps McKane's head back.
Montague lands a jab to the nose. A jab from McKane does it's job there. A cross from Montague lands. Montague is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Montague lands with a right hand. Montague scores with a nice strike.
McKane forces Montague back against the cage and clinches.
McKane jumps guard and drags Montague to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. This has been an exciting period of action! There's a bit of a scramble here and now McKane is on top in guard.
Montague seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Montague keeping moving, preventing McKane from controlling successfully.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McKane trying to stand up but can't free himself from Montague's guard. McKane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Montague pulls McKane in close to his closed guard and prevents McKane from doing any damage or advancing position. McKane pushes down on Montague's leg and manages to get into half guard. Montague wants to improve his position but McKane is controlling well.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Montague is looking to get back to full guard here but McKane has managed to pass to side control instead. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Montague can do anything to dispel that myth.
McKane stands up and we're back to a striking position. McKane shoots for a takedown but Montague saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McKane has closed the distance and engaged Montague in a clinch.
Montague avoids the elbow strike from McKane, against the cage.
Montague is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. McKane stalling in the clinch but Montague improves position. McKane tries to pull guard but Montague forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Montague gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, McKane regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Montague preventing the sweep. Montague postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Montague looking to sit in guard and control but McKane gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
 The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McKane is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. McKane won't allow Montague to sweep him here. McKane trying to control the position from guard on top but Montague is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McKane postures up in Montague's guard and throws a big left but Montague blocks it. Montague keeping moving, preventing McKane from controlling successfully.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. McKane throwing strikes from guard but Montague blocks nicely. McKane throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McKane throwing strikes but missing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Montague tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tim McKane will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
McKane smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Montague scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McKane clinches up against the cage.
Montague has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McKane clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Tim McKane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee is taking a good look at McKane as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Montague!
Montague scores with punches and elbows. Montague gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Montague lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns McKane.
McKane breaks Montague's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
McKane drops back looking for a leg! Montague is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Montague manages to kick McKane off! McKane jumps back into Montague's guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McKane landing with the ground and pound. McKane preventing the sweep. Montague keeping moving, preventing McKane from controlling successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Montague pulls McKane in close to prevent any damage. Let's hope that Montague has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Montague really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McKane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McKane passes Montague's left leg - he's now in half guard. McKane is looking to take a break and control but Montague is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McKane not landing any meaningful shots this time.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Montague is refusing to be controlled, as McKane sits in half guard. McKane tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Montague. Montague is concentrating on defense, preventing McKane from advancing position. McKane trying to control from half guard but Montague is working away.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Montague jabs at McKane's body.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McKane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McKane moves into range and clinches up with Montague.
McKane pulls guard successfully.
Montague pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McKane is keeping the position for now. McKane keeping moving, preventing Montague from controlling successfully. McKane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Montague is one step ahead there. We've been informed that Montague has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Montague tries to free his leg and advance position but McKane is retaining full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Montague is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Montague won't allow McKane to get back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tim McKane will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
McKane takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Montague fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McKane looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. McKane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Montague as he jumps to the side. McKane takes a body punch but keeps moving. McKane tries for a takedown but Montague circles away easily
and Montague counters with a single leg into guard. McKane didn't expect that.
McKane pushes Montague off and scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Montague stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Tim McKane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A nice combination there by Montague.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
McKane moves into range and clinches up with Montague.
Montague turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Montague manages to end up in side control. McKane struggling a bit here. Montague scoring with punches from side control. Montague working the body and head with strikes. Montague landing strikes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McKane is looking for a sweep. McKane taking punishment in the form of punches.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. McKane is working to avoid the ground and pound but Montague connects with a decent elbow. Montague scoring with punches and elbows. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McKane taking punishment in the form of punches.
Montague lands an elbow. Montague working the head with strikes.
 McKane is rocked! Montague wants to control but McKane is keeping him busy. Montague moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Montague working the ground and pound from side control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. McKane is trying to control Montague's posture but Montague avoids it. Montague cracks McKane with a big elbow. Montague working the ground and pound. Montague working the head with strikes. Montague looks up at the clock and then as McKane takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Montague smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Montague creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Montague working the head with strikes. Montague lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear McKane down.
Oh McKane is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Montague lands a nice forearm strike. Montague just content to control the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Montague is looking to take a break and control but McKane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McKane seems to have got his legs back now. Montague cracks McKane with a big right hand but McKane just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Montague looks up at the clock and then as McKane takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Montague smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Barnardine Montague has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Montague wants to lay and pray for a moment but McKane keeps working. McKane takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Montague looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Tim McKane is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Montague has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Montague goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, McKane rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Montague's guard! Nice work there by McKane!
And that's the end of the fight! Barnardine Montague comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think McKane has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
