Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Sweet (ranked 2366 p4p, 2295 weight class) and Rodrigo Caceres (ranked 265 p4p, 256 weight class). Sweet kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pop that Pussy. Ricky Sweet has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caceres fails to land the takedown.
Sweet is looking for a counter combo.
Caceres showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sweet.
Caceres tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sweet swivels and escapes.
Caceres shoots and misses
and Sweet counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sweet.
Ricky Sweet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Caceres.

Caceres turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Caceres manages to end up in side control.
Caceres tries to advance to mount but Sweet denies him.
Caceres passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Sweet!

Caceres goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sweet is on top in guard.
Caceres wants to sweep here but Sweet controlling him for the moment.
Caceres is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Caceres working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sweet.
Caceres is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
