This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; D.C. Benny! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Otto Kolan! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kolan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Benny. Benny looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kolan is fending him off so far but Benny persists. Nope, Kolan circles away and we're back to standing. Benny fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for D.C. Benny. That's going to take a lot out of him. Benny looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kolan tries to avoid it but Benny manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kolan to the ground. Kolan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kolan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Benny defends it well. Benny shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kolan sprawls well. Kolan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Benny gets slowly back to his feet. Benny shoots in but Kolan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kolan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Benny fails miserably with a takedown attempt. D.C. Benny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kolan leaves Benny with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Benny fails to land the takedown.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Benny tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kolan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Benny somewhat. Kolan with the counter takedown but Benny avoids it easily. Benny fails with a takedown attempt. Kolan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kolan stuffs the takedown attempt from Benny. Benny gets slowly back to his feet. Kolan with the counter takedown but Benny avoids it easily. Benny will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kolan is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Benny. Benny misses with a takedown attempt
and Kolan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Benny (0) vs (2) Kolan Kolan trying to pass the guard but Benny defending well.
Kolan is trying to work for a kimura but Benny is defending well.
Kolan is looking to take a break and control but Benny is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Benny gets full guard.
Benny working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kolan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kolan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kolan stands and throws Benny's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kolan is working to tighten his grip on Benny's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Benny has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kolan is really squeezing tight and eventually Benny passes out! Kolan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
