Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alkandros Vasilios!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
May Jr throws a leg kick
and Vasilios counters with a shoot takedown. May Jr fights it but they end up in guard.
May Jr isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vasilios stacks May Jr on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vasilios!
Vasilios thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
May Jr is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Vasilios off and has taken his back!
Vasilios trying to control the hands but May Jr won't let him.
May Jr has the hooks in. Vasilios is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Vasilios has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from May Jr.
May Jr is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - May Jr's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Vasilios manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. May Jr is now in side control.
Vasilios is not content to let May Jr control the position.

It looks like Alkandros Vasilios has been cut.
Vasilios takes a swing at May Jr's ribcage but misses.
Vasilios takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
May Jr throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vasilios drops down looking to force a counter takedown but May Jr defends it well.
May Jr ducks under a wild hook from Vasilios.
Vasilios doesn't manage to clinch there - May Jr circles away.
Vasilios stuns May Jr with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

May Jr throws a head kick that misses.
May Jr throws a head kick but Vasilios moves out of range.
Vasilios on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
May Jr misses with an uppercut. Vasilios saw that one coming.
Vasilios is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

and May Jr counters with a series of strikes. Vasilios will be more careful next time no doubt.
May Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Vasilios fakes high and swings low for a body shot but May Jr manages to avoid it.
May Jr was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
May Jr misses with a head kick.
May Jr stuffs the takedown attempt from Vasilios. Vasilios gets slowly back to his feet.

May Jr needs to keep his hands up - Vasilios had a free shot at his head there.
May Jr lands a big head kick that sends Vasilios to the canvas! May Jr follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
