Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bastien Harris (ranked 878 p4p, 1918 weight class) and Kane Thoupos (ranked 111 p4p, 215 weight class). Thoupos has chosen 151 Rum - JID as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bastien Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kane Thoupos!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris jabs at Thoupos's body.
Thoupos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Harris.
Thoupos throws a sloppy head kick and Harris moves out of range easily.
Thoupos lands a big head kick that sends Harris tumbling to the mat! Thoupos takes a step backwards and waves Harris back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Harris is rocked!
It looks like Bastien Harris has been cut.
Thoupos throws a lazy uppercut
and Harris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thoupos closes the distance and clinches.
Harris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harris throws a hook to the side of Thoupos's head but Thoupos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Harris connects with a body shot that sends Thoupos's belly button to the back.
Thoupos has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Thoupos tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Harris counters with a straight right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thoupos ducks under a wild hook from Harris.
A decent looking cross lands there for Thoupos.
Harris misses the jab.
Thoupos throws out a counter right but Harris avoids it with no problem.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Harris lands with a thumping leg kick.
Harris stuns Thoupos with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Harris connects with a body shot.
Thoupos moves out of range as Harris strikes.
Harris misses with a right hand
and Thoupos counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thoupos swings widly with a right hand
letting Harris counter with a right hand.
Thoupos clinches up against the cage.
Harris manages to break the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harris gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Thoupos.
Thoupos wants to clinch
and Harris counters with a straight right hand.
Thoupos wants to clinch but Harris slips to the side
and Harris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Harris throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Thoupos misses with a hook to the body
and Harris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Thoupos cracks Harris with a right hand to the side of the head.
Harris throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thoupos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Harris moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Thoupos - that will leave a mark!
Harris misses with a hook
and Thoupos counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Harris looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Harris slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
and Harris counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Thoupos! He's just covering up as Harris starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bastien Harris!
