Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Noeigati (ranked 31 p4p, 252 weight class) and Wood Chuck (ranked 4 p4p, 36 weight class). Noeigati comes to the cage accompanied by Cremation of Sam McGee. Chuck has chosen Who Needs A Girl Like You - Indian Wars as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 29 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Noeigati! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wood Chuck! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Noeigati looks to land a left hand but Chuck moved out of range nicely. Nice body punch from Chuck. Chuck takes a swing at Noeigati's ribcage but misses. Chuck needs to keep his hands up - Noeigati had a free shot at his head there. Noeigati keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chuck. Noeigati went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Noeigati throws a looping overhand right but Chuck ducks down to avoid it. Noeigati's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chuck connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Noeigati scrambles back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Noeigati. It looked like Noeigati wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Some bone on bone action there as Chuck checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Chuck misses with a left hand and Noeigati counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Noeigati throws a big shot that misses. Chuck is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Chuck ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Chuck shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Noeigati as he avoids it easily. Chuck throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Noeigati lands with a kick to the ribs.

and Noeigati counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chuck rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Noeigati to counter with a crisp jab. Chuck looks to score with a jab to the body but Noeigati is just out of range. Noeigati throwing a counter right hand but Chuck manages to avoid it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Chuck avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Noeigati cracks Chuck with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Chuck looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Noeigati finish him?
 It looks like Wood Chuck has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Noeigati uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chuck. A big left from Chuck misses. Noeigati misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Noeigati loads up on a big right hand but Chuck slips the punch. Chuck throws a shot from downtown. Noeigati moves away and avoids it. Wood Chuck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chuck scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Noeigati throws a shot from downtown. Chuck moves away and avoids it. Benjamin Noeigati is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Noeigati throws a lazy uppercut
and Chuck counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Noeigati! Chuck looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Noeigati is avoiding damage well.
Chuck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chuck throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Noeigati defending against the ground and pound. Noeigati dodges the ground and pound from Chuck. Chuck tries to score with some ground and pound. Noeigati controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Chuck misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chuck postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Noeigati's shoulder. That is not cool. Chuck throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Chuck is working Noeigati over with some ground and pound from side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Noeigati defending against the ground and pound. Noeigati takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

A close round but Wood Chuck will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Wood Chuck's cut. That's time! Noeigati's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Chuck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Noeigati moves away. Chuck throws a hook to the side of Noeigati's head but Noeigati sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chuck lunges at Noeigati with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Noeigati's hand. Chuck shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Noeigati as he avoids it easily. Noeigati swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Chuck misses with a hook.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Chuck digs a good hook to Noeigati's body.
Benjamin Noeigati is winning the standup battle so far. Noeigati moves out of range of the strikes. We've been told by Noeigati's head coaches at Dissolution Elite Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Chuck throws a shot from downtown. Noeigati moves away and avoids it. Chuck misses with a looping left. Chuck changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Noeigati throws a chopping leg kick but Chuck manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Noeigati missing with a left hand there. Chuck was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Noeigati thows a left - swing and a miss! Noeigati connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chuck. Chuck circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Chuck fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Noeigati jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chuck with the counter takedown but Noeigati avoids it easily. Noeigati moves out of range as Chuck strikes. Noeigati takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Chuck lands a nice hook to Noeigati's body. Noeigati takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Noeigati steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chuck. A punch combination from Chuck misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chuck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Noeigati missing with a left hand there. Chuck was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Noeigati throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Chuck shoots in looking for a takedown but Noeigati manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chuck's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Chuck misses with a right hand enabling Noeigati to counter with a crisp jab. Chuck connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Noeigati ducks under a wild hook from Chuck. Chuck throws a hook but Noeigati blocks it.
Chuck gets a takedown into half guard. Chuck not landing any meaningful shots this time.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Noeigati avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chuck. Chuck throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Noeigati to regain full guard. Chuck trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Chuck is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Chuck trying to control the position from guard on top but Noeigati is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Chuck working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Noeigati has control of Chuck's left arm, preventing Chuck from doing any damage. Chuck stopping the sweep attempt from Noeigati. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wood Chuck showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Wood Chuck's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Chuck manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Noeigati on his heels. He'll look to pass Noeigati's guard now, I'm sure. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Chuck throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Noeigati fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Chuck checks it well. Chuck throws out a loose jab but Noeigati uses good head movement to avoid it. As Chuck backs away, Noeigati returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Nice uppercut lands for Chuck. That snapped Noeigati's head back.

Noeigati gets caught napping as Chuck dives in and scores a takedown. Noeigati manages to retain guard. Chuck postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Chuck is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Chuck lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Wood Chuck is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chuck is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chuck's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chuck connects with a right hand. Noeigati shakes it off.
And that's the end of the fight! Wood Chuck comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Chuck winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
