Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23095 p4p, 23315 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wala Sapi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 56 - 77 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 67 - 59 - 14, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sapi.
Libat appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Libat tries for a takedown but Sapi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Libat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And Sapi responds with a good body kick, but Libat manages to step out the way in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Libat changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sapi tries to avoid it but Libat manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sapi to the ground. Sapi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Libat dives in and grabs Sapi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sapi pushes down on Libat's head and hops out.
Sapi darts in looking for a takedown but Libat gets double underhooks and turns Sapi into the cage.

You can see the frustration on Libat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sapi tries to score with some ground and pound. Libat controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sapi creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Libat sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sapi has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Libat's body.
Sapi is striking well from the back but Libat escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Higanti Libat.
Well Sapi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
